Site-Based Substitute Teacher
Are you ready to make an impact on education? Eden Prairie Schools is hiring talented individuals interested in becoming Site-Based Substitute Teachers for the school year. Site-Based Substitute Teachers will directly report to their site location five days a week and provide continuous learning opportunities for all learners. Site-Based Substitute Teachers should expect to be placed in various classrooms to support as needed.
No need to call into a system and find a job, no early morning phone calls, just report right to your on-site work location every teacher workday Monday - Friday. There is a classroom of preschool, elementary, middle or high school students that will soon need your help. They'll need a caring and flexible problem-solver who can make the most of the teaching day.
Be a part of continuing the education program when a teacher is absent. We're committed to placing you in that classroom.
We are looking for candidates who will:
Be Flexible Be Prompt Follow a lesson plan Stay positive Manage the classroom proactively Communicate well with students, teachers, administrators
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Minnesota Teacher License Short-Call Sub License or Teacher Licensure (any subject area) Licensure Information: PELSB
Schedule:
5 days/week Monday-Friday September 21, 2026 - May 28, 2027 Student days only Salary: $286.61/day
