Position:
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Salary: $40,000-$48,000 annually (based on experience)

If you don't currently hold a Minnesota Cosmetology Instructor License, Nova Academy will help the right candidate obtain it.

We provide the support and guidance needed to become licensed so you can transition from behind the chair into a rewarding career educating future beauty professionals.

What You'll Do

Coach, mentor, and inspire cosmetology students throughout their education.
Teach both classroom and hands-on clinic instruction.
Demonstrate professional techniques, salon best practices, and industry standards.
Help students develop technical skills, professionalism, retail sales, guest service, goal setting, and career readiness.
Monitor student progress and provide additional coaching when needed.
Record grades and maintain accurate student records.
Prepare classrooms and clinic floor learning experiences.
Collaborate with Student Services and leadership to support student success.
Participate in continuing education and professional development.
Foster a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment.

Qualifications Required

Current Minnesota Cosmetology License.
Passion for mentoring and developing future beauty professionals.
Strong technical and communication skills.
Professional attitude with a desire to make a positive impact.

Preferred

Minnesota Cosmetology Instructor License.
Previous teaching, coaching, mentoring, or leadership experience.
