Non-certified $27.82 per hour / Certified $41.00 per hour Employment

Position Overview:
To ensure that every child assigned to caseload be provided with an ongoing educational program as directed. Typical
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ascertain the educational needs and the physical and learning capabilities of assigned students. Implement an instructional program for each assigned student. Meet with each assigned student on a regularly scheduled basis to provide instruction. Keep, maintain, and file such reports and records as the Office of Special Services may require, including time sheets and student progress. Assume responsibility for obtaining appropriate textbooks and other teaching materials.

Ability to provide appropriate instruction to assigned students Preferred Requirements:
Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable, particularly in Spanish, Haitian Creole, French, or Portuguese.
