Social Studies Teacher

Position Availability: Full‑time, 1.0 LTS (Long Term Sub), covered from September 24, 2026 through November 20, 2026.

Work Calendar: View calendar with work days via the district portal.

Salary: Based on level of education and full years of licensed teaching experience. Review the 2025‑2027 REA contract for salary schedule information.

Qualifications: Current Minnesota PELSB license in the appropriate area is required. Proficiency in Social Studies is essential.

Required Skills:

• Prior successful experience in urban, multicultural education is desirable.
• Demonstrated continued professional development through coursework, research, peer collaboration, and/or job‑embedded staff development.
• Working knowledge of the subject matter, classroom management techniques, current researched best practices, strategies, and students’ learning styles and needs (both academic and affective).
