Engineering Intern Job ResponsibilitiesAs an intern, you will have the opportunity to support our licensed engineers and other team members on various infrastructure projects and corresponding activities. Duties will include:
- Assist Construction Services Manager and other Bollig staff with construction observation and documentation activities and project management
- Assist with construction staking and as-built record keeping
- Support engineering and design staff on projects as needed
- Assist with internal project activities, tracking, prepping for Council meetings, etc.
- Review project specification compliance and quantity tracking
- Other tasks as assigned
- Seeking a degree in civil/environmental engineering, construction management, or related major
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to learn and attention to detail
- Ability to make a positive impression with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors for extended periods of time
- Willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks in different site conditions
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
- Aptitude in Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point
