Open Position ADAS Calibration Technician Job Summary
We are seeking an ADAS Calibration Technician to join our growing team. This role is responsible for performing precise vehicle calibrations while maintaining the highest standards of technical accuracy, OEM compliance, and overall vehicle safety. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and delivering an exceptional customer experience on every repair.
Key Responsibilities- Perform static and dynamic ADAS calibrations following OEM procedures
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair ADAS-related systems including:
- Lane departure warning
- Adaptive cruise control
- Blind spot monitoring
- Collision avoidance systems
- Review repair orders, scan reports, and OEM documentation to determine calibration needs
- Operate calibration equipment and software (OEM and aftermarket systems)
- Conduct pre-scan and post-scan diagnostics on all applicable vehicles
- Ensure all calibrations meet OEM specifications and safety standards
- Document calibration results and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with estimators, body technicians, and painters to ensure proper repair flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Stay up to date on evolving ADAS technology and OEM procedures
- 2+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, or collision repair
- Prior ADAS calibration experience preferred
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronics and computer systems
- Experience with diagnostic tools (OEM scan tools, CCC ONE, or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of OEM repair procedures and scanning requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- I-CAR or OEM certifications (preferred but not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required (technical degree preferred)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic ability
- Ability to follow structured processes and procedures
- Time management and ability to handle multiple vehicles
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, manual dexterity.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
- Lifting.
- Ability to walk long distances.
