Overview

Landmark Financial Partners is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor who is ready to accelerate client growth while delivering exceptional service. When you join our Rochester practice, you will retain ownership of your existing client relationships and receive a competitive payout rate on your current business. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with a seasoned advisor, helping manage additional clients and sharing compensation.

Bonus pay and potential practice equity may be available.

Responsibilities
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • The Financial Advisor is responsible for supporting and growing client relationships by:
    • Managing, gathering and analyzing client data
    • Preparing financial plans and client deliverables
    • Participating in client meetings and addressing client needs
    • Resolving client issues and supporting ongoing service needs
    • Assisting with practice management and business-related projects as needed
  • Position Functions:
  • Marketing and Client Acquisition (Approximately 15%)
    • Contact prospective clients to schedule meetings or appointments
    • Assist with coordinating seminars and client appreciation events
    • Leverage personal and professional networks to drive new client acquisition
    • Learn and implement client referral program
    • Drive client acquisition using network marketing with Center of Influence
    • Assist with social media presence for marketing purposes
  • Client Service and Care (Approximately 70%)
    • Prepare for and participate in client meetings focused on financial planning
    • Lead client meetings as appropriate
    • Conduct post-meeting follow-up including:
    • Transactions
    • Money movements
    • Illustrations and proposals
    • Respond to client questions and provide timely information
    • Assist in the financial planning process
    • Support the servicing of retirement plans
  • Business Management & Client Care (Approximately 15%)
    • Business Management
    • Review and improve work methods and procedures for efficiency and quality
    • Participate in team meetings
    • Support compliance standards and firm policies
    • Assist with investment research
    • Maintain accurate client records in Salesforce CRM
    • Review and respond to emails in a timely manner
    • Return client calls within a reasonable time frame
Education and Licensing Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services
  • Must already hold Series 7, Series 66, and State Life, Accident & Health licenses
Position Expectations

The ideal candidate will have an existing client base and the ability to conduct effective client meetings, source prospective clients, and grow a successful practice. This individual brings an entrepreneurial mindset, strong research and planning skills, and the ability to recommend suitable investment products and services. The Financial Advisor must adhere to all rules and regulations as required by Ameriprise Financial.
