Job Description & How to Apply Below

Plymouth, MN (Primarily In-Office | Remote up to 1 day per week)

At Nature Works, we're creating naturally advanced materials that help build a more sustainable future. As the world's leading producer of Ingeo™ biopolymers, we partner with customers around the globe to deliver innovative, renewable materials that make a difference.

We're looking for an FP&A Manager who enjoys partnering with leaders across the business to turn financial insights into better decisions. This is a highly visible individual contributor role where you'll drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis while supporting a growing global business.

This position is based in our Plymouth, Minnesota headquarters. We believe collaboration is strongest when we're together, so this role is primarily in-office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. While the role generally follows standard business hours, occasional evening or weekend work is expected during key planning cycles, month-end close, and to collaborate with colleagues in Thailand and support our global finance operations.

What

You'll Do

As a key member of our Finance team, you will:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles.
  • Develop financial models, long-range plans, and scenario analyses that support strategic decision‑making.
  • Prepare executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and financial presentations for senior leadership.
  • Analyze business performance and provide meaningful insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with leaders across Commercial, Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, and Corporate functions to support sound business decisions.
  • Develop business cases, profitability analyses, and ROI models for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
  • Continuously improve financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes through better tools and more effective ways of working.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Nature Works' manufacturing operations and business model to provide meaningful financial guidance and support informed decision‑making.
What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys learning the business, collaborating with others, and using financial insights to make an impact.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trusted partnerships across the organization.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how the business operates beyond the financial statements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to finance and non‑finance audiences alike.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in enhancing processes, reporting, and business performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting, including experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis.
  • Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP system.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to support strategic and operational decision‑making.

At Nature Works, we believe in rewarding our employees with a competitive compensation package and benefits that support both your career and personal well‑being.

  • Salary range of $115,000-$140,000, plus 13% annual bonus opportunity
  • 180 hours of paid vacation, plus 3 floating holidays and 9 company‑paid holidays
  • 56 hours (7 days) of paid family sick time each year
