Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) certification and recent vascular interventional experience for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based vascular interventional radiology department
- Care provided to adolescent and adult populations
- Primarily day shifts, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
- Rotating on-call responsibilities for evenings and weekends
- Requires flexibility to float to various work locations and shift lengths as needed
- Uses EPIC EMR for charting
- Responsible for producing high quality radiology images meeting departmental standards
- Provide services within the radiology department and assigned operating room areas
- Must demonstrate competence with a variety of interventional radiology equipment and technologies
- Maintains and practices safety guidelines for patients and staff
- Must work effectively as part of a team with strong communication skills
- Work may require varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on call schedule
- Assignment duration is up to one calendar year, with required break before returning
- First-time travelers are not specified
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification required before employment
- Current ARRT (R) required
- ARRT (VI) required within 18 months of start date
- Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required
- Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience OR 3 completed travel assignments
- Experience in a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred
- Active license required if applicable
