Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) certification and recent vascular interventional experience for a travel assignment.

• Work in a hospital-based vascular interventional radiology department
• Care provided to adolescent and adult populations
• Primarily day shifts, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• Rotating on-call responsibilities for evenings and weekends
• Requires flexibility to float to various work locations and shift lengths as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR for charting
• Responsible for producing high quality radiology images meeting departmental standards
• Provide services within the radiology department and assigned operating room areas
• Must demonstrate competence with a variety of interventional radiology equipment and technologies
• Maintains and practices safety guidelines for patients and staff
• Must work effectively as part of a team with strong communication skills
• Work may require varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on call schedule
• Assignment duration is up to one calendar year, with required break before returning
• First-time travelers are not specified

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification required before employment
• Current ARRT (R) required
• ARRT (VI) required within 18 months of start date
• Current CPR/BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross is required
• Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience OR 3 completed travel assignments
• Experience in a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred
• Active license required if applicable
