Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and strong cardiovascular scanning expertise for a travel assignment in Rochester, MN.

• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Tuesdays off
• This position is approximately 80–90% cardiovascular CT scanning
• Flexibility required to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Produces high-quality CT images in accordance with established radiology department standards
• Adheres to safety guidelines for patients, self, and support personnel
• May be asked to assist in training new staff
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility
• Date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required, and/or 3 total travel assignments completed
• Associate's degree in a related field and graduation from an accredited radiography program required
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Heavy hands-on experience with cardiovascular CT scanning strongly preferred
• Active state license required if applicable — no pending licenses accepted
• Ability to respond to on-call pager as needed
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a multifunctional environment
