Family Partners of Minnesota is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join their team in Rochester, MN. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing personalized care and support. • Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Assist clients with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community integration and social activities
• Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
• Administer medications and monitor health needs as directed
• Foster independence and self-advocacy skills in the individuals you support
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in direct care, DSP, or human services preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background checkn
• Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to obtain required certifications such as CPR/First Aid and medication administration
• Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
