Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Neurophysiology Technologist to join a clinical neurophysiology team in Rochester, Minnesota. The technologist will perform EEG and other neurodiagnostic procedures while supporting patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and inpatient settings.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, able to work independently, and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Schedule- Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
- Monday/Tuesday: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM (8-hour shifts)
- 40 guaranteed hours/week
- 13-week assignment
- EEG on-call rotation required
- Perform adult and pediatric EEG studies using 10-20 and 10-10 electrode placement systems
. - Perform Evoked Potential testing and other neurodiagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and maintain EEG recordings for surgical, adult, and pediatric patients.
- Support patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and inpatient settings.
- Respond appropriately to seizure activity.
- Troubleshoot EEG and neurodiagnostic equipment.
- Assist with SPECT injections.
- Perform or assist with Nerve Conduction Studies as required.
- Provide accurate shift reports and communicate relevant patient information.
- Maintain a safe and supportive testing environment.
- Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure effective patient care.
- Mentor student technologists rotating through the inpatient practice.
- EEG or CLTM registry required
- BLS certification required
- Associate degree in Applied Science or related science
- Current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist graduate, or current CNT student
- Demonstrated competency in neurodiagnostic procedural testing
- EEG testing experience
- Evoked Potential testing experience
