- Five years MRI experience
- Excellent communication skills
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
- Preceptor training
- Provides leadership for MRI staff and services.
- Acts as a resource and provides training and education for MRI operations and procedures.
- Assists with hiring, orientation, competency assessment and disciplinary functions
- Acts as a resource for management of service and preventive maintenance for equipment.
- Acts as a resource for policies, procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assists with budget process and monitoring of budget metrics.
- Manages inventory of supplies and materials to meet service needs.
- Applies patient and staff safety practices to use of MRI process.
- Practices the ethics of the profession.
- Demonstrates proficiency in MRI protocols and patient management.
- Ensures all quality controls and quality parameters meet manufacturer requirements.
- Demonstrates proficiency in training and assessing staff competency in MRI protocols, including coordination of orientation and training, timely completion of competencies, communication of progress, and annual performance evaluations.
- Maintains knowledge of rules, regulations, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, including completion of ACR requirements.
- Manages service and preventive maintenance for equipment, including notification of downtime and patient schedules.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and contrast.
- Monitors budget metrics
- Establishes processes to optimize workflow.
- Other duties as assigned.
