Clinical Social Worker - LICSW - Integrated Behavioral Health - Adult Population

Mayo Clinic is seeking a full-time clinical social worker to join our Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH)
Team. IBH social workers collaborate across a diverse patient population, providing care within primary care settings that serve both pediatric and adult patients. We welcome applicants who are comfortable working with a broad range of ages, clinical presentation, and family systems.
The current opening is for an LICSW serving our adult patient population (patients ages 18+)."

This outpatient role enhances access to behavioral health services and supports population health. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, APRNs, RN care coordinators, and primary care physicians, to provide evidence-based behavioral health care and coordinate transitional care and support related to social determinants of health. In this vital role, you will:

• Conduct diagnostic assessments, determine clinical interventions, facilitate crisis intervention, and deliver short-term psychotherapy and patient/family education.
• Develop and implement treatment and transition plans.
• Refer patients to community resources to address barriers related to social determinants of health.
• Serve as an active member of an interdisciplinary team by participating in huddles and case consultation meetings.
• Contribute to Mayo Clinic's mission of research, practice, and education.
• Ensure compliance with medical and legal standards and serve as a resource for allied and administrative staff within the Section of Social Work and Department of Nursing.

This position includes specified billable patient contact hours, depending on assigned unit or site.
