Role:
IV Technician responsible for performing intravenous (IV) placement, troubleshooting, and site care under supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform IV insertions in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Assist with direct and indirect patient care tasks delegated by RNs.
- Maintain proper IV site care and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of healthcare (e.g., PCA, Phlebotomy, Donor Services) or customer service experience.
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workload and complete delegated tasks independently.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross, or willingness to obtain during orientation.
Self-motivated, adaptable, capable of working in dynamic clinical environments.
Additional DetailsThis is a part-time role with scheduled shifts including days and evenings, every third weekend, and some holidays.
Compensation ranges from $19.92 to $27.33 per hour.
