Procedural Support Assistant - Radiology

Role Overview:

The procedural support assistant is a vital member of the healthcare team, providing patient support, pre- and post-procedure assistance, and managing specimen and biopsy orders.

• Assist with patient preparation, instruction, and post-procedure care.
• Support healthcare providers during procedures, including obtaining vital signs and room turnover.
• Transport patients and ensure timely supply management and room cleanliness.
• Respond to patient needs and facilitate effective communication.

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of patient care or customer service experience.
• Proficiency in computer applications, electronic health records, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, adapt to change, and maintain professionalism under stress.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) required, with additional certifications as needed.

The role is full-time, nonexempt, with a pay rate between $21.55 and $30.22 per hour. It involves working days, evenings, and on-call weekends, with flexibility to meet department needs. The position supports a diverse, inclusive environment and offers comprehensive benefits.
