We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services for students in a K-12 educational setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the skills needed to participate successfully in academic activities, classroom routines, and daily school experiences.

• Evaluate students to identify occupational therapy needs impacting academic participation and independence
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students across assigned grade levels
• Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation strategies, self-care skills, and functional abilities
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding accommodations, modifications, and assistive strategies
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, documentation, and required reports
• Recommend and implement classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and sensory supports when appropriate
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies based on student needs
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements

• Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapy license through the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
• Current registration with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Completion of required clinical fieldwork experience
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based occupational therapy service delivery models
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
• Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
