** Mental Health Practitioner
** to work the day shift. As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide care and support to clients with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorder. You will work alongside a team of professionals to provide services in the areas of mental health, co-occurring disorders, monitoring medication compliance, and independent living skills. ** Responsibilities
* ** Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
* Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
* Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
* Monitors medication compliance and report any side effects.
* Facilitate residential program activities, classes and groups
* Accurately complete treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
* Responds appropriately to all crises and utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.## Qualifications

* Requirements & Qualifications:

*** Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
* 1 year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
* Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
* Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay: $25.11 - $30.13 per hour. Compensation is based on years of experience.
