Senior Services – Assistant Cook – Rochester
JOB STATUS: Senior Nutrition is hiring a part-time Assistant Cook at our High Point senior living facility. 25 hours/week, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or GED, and one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of food items for daily service to seniors.
- Dishwashing and kitchen clean-up.
- Meal service for seniors in the building.
- Assisting the Head cook as needed.
- Subbing as a food deliverer to deliver meals to multiple buildings in town.
COMPENSATION:$ Higher starting rates are available for those with 10 or more years of direct experience. Semcac offers competitive wages, Dental and Vision insurance, 11 paid holidays, and a generous PTO plan.
