Housekeeping Supervisor - Marriott

Overview

The Housekeeping Supervisor supports the housekeeping department by assisting the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily operations, ensuring guest rooms and assigned areas are cleaned to high standards and ready for check-in. This role helps maintain a clean, organized, and guest‑ready environment within the hotel.

• Assist Executive Housekeeper in supervising the housekeeping staff.
• Assist the Housekeepers and the housemen as needed.
• Inspect guest rooms after the housekeepers have finished cleaning to ensure cleanliness and readiness for the next check‑in.
• Compile and report accurate room status of guest rooms to the front office.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Practice chemical safety rules and follow procedures for hazardous materials.
• Respond in a timely manner to guest requests.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Opera PMS and Microsoft computer experience.
• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred.

The compensation for this position is $17 - $18 per hour.
