Information Security Analyst

• Serve as a liaison between technology and business, including oversight committees.
• Understand industry standard information security concepts, organizational change management, project management, and business analysis.
• Integrate multiple disciplines (business/system process analysis, data analysis and informatics, risk management, regulatory requirements, and technology) for strategic and operational planning.
• Apply problem‑solving methods, planning techniques, continuous improvement, project management and analytical tools to achieve Mayo goals.
• Conduct information security assessments.
• Collaborate with others to address security questions and respond to customer inquiries.
• Ensure appropriate treatment of cyber security risk and monitor compliance with Mayo's Information Security policies, processes and procedures.
• Create, support and evaluate security prototypes.
• Administer Information Security processes and tools that enable the organization to operate effectively and efficiently.
• Create, coordinate, conduct, and/or evaluate training courses within the relevant subject domain.
• Draft policies, processes, and procedures.
• Manage a varied workload of projects with multiple priorities.
• Stay current on information security, technology, healthcare trends, and institutional changes.
• Develop interpersonal skills, including presentation, negotiation, influencing, team facilitation and written communication.
• Effectively manage time.

Occasional travel to Rochester may be required based on departmental needs.

Master's degree in an applicable field with 2 years’ experience, or Bachelor's degree in an applicable field with 4 years’ experience.

Relevant fields of study and experience include information security, operational analysis, process change, electronic systems implementation, leadership, systems analysis, and project management with broad-based key enterprise initiatives.

The candidate must be self‑driven and highly accountable, capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks effectively. The ability to collaborate across various IAM teams is a must.

Demonstrated expertise in querying and analyzing IAM source data across enterprise platforms (Active Directory, Entra , Azure AD B2C, Prisma, Silverfort, Cyber Ark, SailPoint). Proven ability to collaborate with the CSOC team to support investigations, including event triage and incident assessment. Experience identifying anomalous identity behavior, suspicious authentication patterns, or privilege misuse.

Advanced proficiency in Big Query with strong SQL capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of cloud database architectures. Experience with Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, Clickhouse is preferred.
