Project Manager – Information Services

Responsibilities

• Manages projects of moderate complexity, with accountability for successful delivery aligned to Essentia Health’s strategic goals
• Works with a high degree of independence to plan, execute, and deliver projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget
• Applies project management methodologies (hybrid) to guide project execution across the full lifecycle
• Partners with business and technical stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria
• Leads cross-functional project teams and serves as the primary point of contact for project communication
• Builds and maintains strong stakeholder relationships and ensures transparency through regular status reporting and effective communication
• Proactively identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks, issues, and dependencies
• Monitors project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource utilization
• Supports organizational change management efforts to drive adoption and realization of project benefits
• Conducts post-project evaluations, including lessons learned and benefits realization, to support continuous improvement
• Contributes to PMO standards, tools, and best practices

• Bachelors degree in Information Services, Business, Healthcare or a related field and 2+ years of project management or project leadership experience
• OR Associates degree and 4+ years of progressive project support and/or project leadership experience in Information Services, Business, or Healthcare
• Experience in healthcare IT, including clinical and business applications, EMR/EHR, or infrastructure initiatives
• PMI PMP/PMI CAPM certifications or other relevant advanced project management education
