Job Overview

We are seeking an Associate – SCM Logistics to support supply chain and logistics operations within a healthcare environment. This role will be responsible for receiving, distributing, transporting, and managing inventory while ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, warehousing, or related operations and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with internal teams, healthcare professionals, vendors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily supply chain logistics activities including receiving, distribution, transportation, warehousing, and storage operations.
• Support inventory control activities, including material movement, special handling requests, critical order fulfillment, and expedited shipments.
• Serve as a logistics support contact for internal SCM teams and business stakeholders, responding to inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite orders, process product returns, and resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies.
• Research and resolve invoice-related issues, including Invoices Not Received (INR) and Received Not Invoiced (RNI) transactions.
• Investigate specialty logistics requests such as proof-of-delivery issues, shipment tracking, shipping method verification, and return management.
• Assist with distribution of healthcare products and materials, including controlled substances and hazardous materials while following safety and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize reports and data analysis to verify inventory accuracy, identify process delays, and support operational improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Participate in SCM continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Perform additional responsibilities as directed by SCM leadership.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or business-related functions.
• Strong computer skills with accurate data entry abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work effectively in a changing environment.
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts related to invoices, receipts, and inventory transactions.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Education Equivalent:

• Associate degree plus 1 year of relevant experience may be considered equivalent to the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in healthcare supply chain, medical logistics, or hospital distribution environments.
• Experience handling controlled substances, hazardous materials, or regulated products.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and supply chain processes.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver’s license may be required for positions involving transportation or driving responsibilities.
• Ability to work overnight shifts:
  Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM.
