Sr. Director of Planning and Purchasing

Marvin is seeking a Sr. Director of Planning and Purchasing to lead integrated demand, production, and materials planning across our premium window, door, and skylight manufacturing operations. In this key leadership role, you will build and execute strategies that align customer demand, capacity, and supply, while optimizing inventory and total cost. You'll oversee procurement and supplier performance, enhance ERP/MRP processes, and drive data-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead integrated demand, production, and materials planning strategies for Marvin's manufacturing operations.
• Oversee purchasing, sourcing, and supplier performance to ensure on-time, cost-effective material availability.
• Optimize inventory levels, safety stock, and working capital while maintaining high service and quality standards.
• Implement and improve ERP/MRP planning processes, data accuracy, and reporting for decision-making.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, finance, and sales to align plans with business goals and product demand.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing planning and purchasing team focused on continuous improvement.
• Monitor key KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance) and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Support new product introductions and capacity changes with robust planning and sourcing strategies.
