Technician , SE Minnesota

…, Inc. is looking for an experienced technician to join our team in Winona, MN. We have been in business since 1998 with a focus on integrity, high quality work and long term client relationships. We are a very busy 8 bay shop servicing domestic, Asian and European car lines with four techs and two service writers. The staff uses Tekmetric management and each technician is provided with a computer in the bay to access repair orders and service information, as well as a smart phone for doing digital inspection and editing ROs remotely.

The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in a retail repair setting and be comfortable working with minimal supervision. We are looking for an A or B level tech who can perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, bumper-to-bumper mechanical repairs and heavy line work like engine, transmission and driveline R&R. Proficiency in driveability and electrical diagnosis would be a big plus.

We perform a lot of MIL/engine performance diagnostics and electrical work, ranging from basic circuits to advanced data network communication issues. German car experience is also a plus (mainly VW/Audi and BMW). Advanced electrical testing capabilities (or a willingness to attend training and learn) are valued, including knowledge of lab scope usage (the shop has a Pico 4425a master kit).
