Sanimax is looking to hire a First Shift Production Supervisor in our South St. Paul location.
* Base salary range of $75,000 to $92,000 (based off experience). Bonus potential up to 10%.
* Competitive benefits to include a 401k match up to 5%

** POSITION PURPOSE
** The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production operations by empowering and motivating employees to function as a team in the areas of receiving, unloading and processing of raw materials to accomplish the company’s objectives.
** ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
*** Ensure that safety initiatives and programs as directed by the Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator are being carried out
* Maintain a highly trained and motivated work force
* Complete individual performance evaluations
* Ensure that all equipment including the boilers, air scrubbers and other process equipment is operated in an efficient manner
* Generate an annual operations budget for all production labor
* Ensure that the fleet, processing facilities, and building and grounds are maintained in a manner which meets all company and government safety and environmental requirements
* In coordination with the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly inspections get completed as required.
** LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES
*** Drives operational performance through initiative, coaching, training, delegation and accountability in addressing opportunities and problems.
* Looks for and implements improvement opportunities.
* Takes responsibility for own personal growth and development.
* Fosters open and consistent communication with own work team and other work groups including but not limited to Production Planner and support Team, Transportation, Procurement and Finished Goods Sales Team.
* Coaches and develops employees through constructive feedback and facilitation of professional growth
* Fosters teamwork
* Ability to take action and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
*** High school education or equivalent is required. Preferred Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
* Previous experience in managing and supervising a production team in a manufacturing and continuous process environment
