POSITION SUMMARYThe Shipping & Receiving Clerk keeps materials and finished products moving smoothly throughout the facility, ensuring accurate handling, tracking, and documentation of all items entering and leaving the operation.
ITAR REQUIREMENTSThis position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which restricts access to export-controlled information to U.S. persons. A U.S. person is generally defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or others specifically authorized under U.S. export regulations. General work authorization (e.g., work permit or EAD) or visa sponsorship does not meet ITAR requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Pick, pull, and stage orders for shipment to support production and customer delivery timelines
- Prepare and package parts and assemblies to meet quality and customer requirements
- Schedules carrier pickups and prepares shipping labels and documentation to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments and perform inventory updates
- Load and unload trucks and verify incoming materials against documentation
- Monitor inventory levels of packing supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Partner with Quality to support shipping audits and ensure compliance with requirements
- Follow established processes, procedures, and KPIs related to shipping and receiving
- Review and complete required training within established time frames
- Identify opportunities to improve processes using continuous improvement tools when appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining regular and reliable attendance
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Able to perform basic tasks in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation with minimal supervision required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and solve problems effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn new skills and concepts.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or operations preferred
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

- This position is on the production floor and involves regular exposure to active manufacturing areas.
- Employees may be exposed to manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and composite or steel-toe shoes are required.
- The work environment is a clean, climate-controlled facility with modern equipment and a safety-first culture. Ambient conditions include typical plant lighting and machinery operation.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk on level surfaces throughout the workday.
- Use hands and fingers to handle tools, controls, and objects.
- Reach with hands and arms, including above shoulder height and below the waist.
- Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, or crawl as needed.
- Talk and hear to communicate effectively.
- Lift, slide, and carry up to 50 lbs using proper techniques.
- Comfortable working in small or confined spaces while following established safety protocols.
