Production Planner

The Production Planner manages customer orders and production schedules to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery. This role supports customers, coordinates with sales and operations, monitors inventory and materials, and adjusts schedules as needed to keep production running smoothly.

• Manage customer orders, changes, and requests
• Review purchase orders and build accurate production schedules
• Coordinate materials, labor, and equipment for production
• Monitor inventory and production timelines
• Resolve production issues and minimize delays
• Adjust schedules to meet deadlines and demand changes
• Provide status updates and reports to management
• Partner with sales and estimating quotes and solutions
• Identify ways to reduce costs and improve processes

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Solid planning, organization, and time management
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• MRP/ERP system experience
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Self-directed and deadline-driven

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required (supply chain, business, or related field)
• CPIM (Certified Production Inventory Management) or similar certification is a plus
• 2+ years of production planning experience
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Office setting within a manufacturing facility
• Minimal travel (under 5%) could be domestic or international

• $62,058 - $86,882
