Packager – Food Manufacturing
Job SummaryResponsible for staging ingredients, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring products meet quality, sanitation, and GMP standards in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Stage and blend ingredients according to approved formulas and procedures
- Operate and monitor powder, liquid, and culture packaging equipment
- Perform equipment setup, operation, shutdown, and routine checks
- Complete quality checks including screens, metal detectors, and documentation
- Clean and sanitize equipment per established sanitation guidelines
- Follow all GMP, safety, and food quality requirements
- Support production flow through material handling and packaging tasks
- Prior experience in food manufacturing or manufacturing/production environments
- Ability to stand for extended (12-hour) shifts
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs consistently
- Experience operating or supporting packaging or production equipment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
Full-time role in a regulated food production setting with rotating shifts, requiring standing, lifting, equipment operation, and strict adherence to sanitation and GMP standards.
Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.25 - $24.25/hr.
