SummaryPrepares product for systems level assembly including unpacking, set‑up assembly, final packaging and repair as required.
Responsibilities- Access the appropriate paperwork and necessary drawings for each job assignment
- Verify kits, enter batch lot information, package and label accessory items according to documented instructions
- Use appropriate mats and all required tooling
- Check equipment (torque wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.) to ensure proper performance
- Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under close supervision
- Assemble a variety of systems integration subassemblies
- Notify leadership of any shutdown situations
- Enter data into Process Feedback System (PFS) and link subassemblies to final unit
- Enter quantities into Operations Complete (Baan) when required
- Ensure the quality of work to meet or exceed customer satisfaction
- Mentor and assist lesser qualified operators
- Build subassemblies and add labels per manufacturing instructions and schematic drawings
- Perform systems integration specific hand solder and inspection operations per documented instructions
- Perform F‑cert function to ensure final units have passed through all necessary operations
- Perform final inspection of unit to ensure no visible defects or fingerprints and wipe down unit as needed
- Add user manuals, accessory packs, cables, labels, etc. per documented instructions
- Assist manufacturing engineering in basic prototype and pre‑production builds
- Use manufacturing routings and process instructions under moderate supervision
- Mentor other co‑workers in assembly activities
- 1+ years of experience in basic systems integration assembly (new build lines, subassembly/final assembly)
- Good component recognition skills
- Basic computer skills
- Effective interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail
- Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism when representing the company
- Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work with diverse groups
- Participation in continuous improvement activities
- Basic math, reading, writing skills
Benchmark considers this a safety‑sensitive position. The role requires pre‑employment drug testing which may include testing for THC. A drug‑ and alcohol‑free workplace is maintained, and testing may be conducted for reasonable‑suspicion and post‑incident situations in accordance with applicable law.
EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

CompensationEstimated range: $17.83 to $19.78 USD per hour.
