SummaryAssembles and/or modifies electronic components, subassemblies and systems by following specific instructions. Assists in working with other less experienced assemblers.
Responsibilities- Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in manufacturing of PCBs.
- Identifies by sight workmanship and material defects in touch‑up and assembly areas and may suggest basic changes to improve operation.
- Performs tasks with high degree of care and attention to detail while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assembles electronic components, assemblies, and modules using samples, visual aids, wiring lists and process sheets.
- Maintains accurate material control within the work area.
- Performs inspection of own work immediately.
- Participates in providing timely feedback to other operations, management, and support engineering.
- Follows and maintains accurate process documentation.
- Assembles PCBs of intermediate complexity.
- May use variety of tools to perform tasks.
- Serves as a mentor to less skilled employees.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of experience in hardware and/or simple optics assembly activities.
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
- Ability to use hand tools and associated devices to manufacture PCBs and other electronic assemblies.
- Ability to learn and master all tasks associated with PCB assembly that are assigned.
- Ability to identify electronic components.
- Ability to identify solder non‑conformance and correct them.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to respond to written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work with and around chemicals used in the PCB manufacturing process.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to obtain and renew certifications on assigned equipment and willingness to cross‑train in other areas.
- Participation in continuous improvement activities.

Compensation Range: $17.83 to $19.78 USD plus shift differential. Benefits include a Bonus Plan, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance.
