Production Supervisor

Crenlo is seeking a high-output Production Supervisor to drive daily production results and continuous improvement within our Manufacturing team. This role is responsible for owning line performance — safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, and material flow — and delivering results through disciplined execution, problem solving, and accountability.

The Production Supervisor is expected to:

  • Run the floor, not observe it
  • Identify problems early and solve them fast
  • Drive both hourly teams and salaried support functions to deliver results
  • Maintain control of materials, inventory accuracy, and system transactions

This is a hands-on leadership role for individuals who take ownership and operate with urgency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safety:
    Enforce safety standards with zero tolerance for unsafe behavior
  • Production Execution:
    Own daily schedule attainment with no surprises
  • Labor Efficiency:
    Drive labor efficiency through proper staffing, line balance, and waste elimination
  • Floor Leadership:
    Maintain a strong, visible presence on the production floor
  • Problem Solving:
    Lead root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions
  • Accountability:
    Hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, and quality
  • Cross-Functional Execution:
    Drive urgency and follow-through from Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Materials
  • Material Flow and Inventory Control:
    Own material flow and inventory accuracy with no production loss due to system or inventory errors
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Implement measurable improvements to cost, quality, and throughput
  • Workforce Development:
    Build and maintain a cross-trained team with no single points of failure
  • Standards and Discipline:
    Enforce high expectations for housekeeping, organization, and discipline

What success looks like:

  • Consistently meets or exceeds production targets
  • Improves efficiency, throughput, and cost performance over time
  • Maintains high inventory accuracy with no production disruptions tied to material issues
  • Builds a team that performs with minimal supervision
  • Eliminates recurring issues through root cause problem solving
  • Creates a culture of accountability and urgency

Preferred qualifications:

  • Lean manufacturing experience including Kaizen, standard work, and waste elimination
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Experience with production metrics such as efficiency, throughput, and scrap
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or similar ERP systems

Working conditions/other:

  • Work Hours/Status:
    • The 2nd shift includes Monday - Friday 3:00pm – 1:30am.
    • Willingness to work every other Saturday during high-demand periods to support production requirements and meet customer commitments
