Under close direction of experienced operators or a Production Team Leader, operates the SMT placement equipment and/or other equipment in order to perform the tasks necessary to manufacture PCBs and/or systems.
Responsibilities- Reads and follows assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures, and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and/or systems
- May be certified to operate a limited number and variety of basic machines in production
- Responds to written and verbal instructions
- Obtains certifications on assigned equipment
- Maintains a clean work environment and follows all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling
- Uses cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; recognizes all part markings including speed and values (ohms)
- Assists with line changeover
- Identifies feeder by size and type in SMT equipment
- Demonstrates the use of cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions and vendor
- Removes hazardous waste at the end of each shift and puts it in waste storage area, checks to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use
- Continuously maintains a clean machine
- May be involved with hazardous waste handling duties
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math
- Ability to operate basic entry-level machines, such as Selective Solder, Wave, Feeder load, Axial/Radial
- High School Diploma or equivalent

Full Time
Compensation Range: $17.52 to $19.40 USD. Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
