Responsibilities

  • Utilizes Lean tools to drive Lean Systems in all aspects of the business, including Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Administration.
  • Schedules and manages the site Continuous Improvement Steering Committee.
  • Tracks and achieves cost‑saving objectives and reports monthly results.
  • Promotes a continuous‑improvement culture by achieving RPA targets.
  • Plans, organizes, and executes Kaizen events.
  • Conducts Lean training.
  • Follows up on Kaizen event action lists from start to close.
  • Facilitates Continuous Improvement teams using Kaizen, VA/VE, 3P, 5S, and SMED.
  • Provides input to the Regional Lean Director to continually improve training materials and techniques.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Strong problem‑solving and facilitation skills.
  • Enthusiastic, tenacious, professional, and articulate.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skill in interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Capacity to become a certified Black Belt within 18 months.
Required Experience
  • Lean Systems certification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing Lean manufacturing.
  • Leadership skills and experience leading Kaizen events.
Preferred Knowledge
  • Six Sigma.
Required Knowledge
  • Communication and training skills.
  • Knowledge of the Toyota Production System.
  • Proficiency in OpEx methods, tools, skills, and trends and how to apply them.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools used for analysis, reporting, and visual management.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience and knowledge of production machinery, processes, standards, and/or change management.
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt preferred).
Physical Requirements
  • Speaking and hearing sufficient for understanding.
  • Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Major portion of work schedule spent walking, standing, stooping, bending, and occasionally lifting up to 40lb.
  • Must have sufficient manual dexterity for keyboard entry and occasional work near moving mechanical parts.
