Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am–4:30om and Friday 7:00 am – 11:00 am
StatusStatus: Full-Time
PayPay: $20. – $23.00
Reports ToReports To: Production Team Lead
Position OverviewThe purpose of this job is to assist with the fabrication and installation of natural stone and other products. Working as part of a team, must be able to operate assorted hand tools, safely operate machinery, and promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Production Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate materials (Natural Stone and others) according to specifications.
- Promote the highest levels of customer satisfaction through accurate quality work and courteous, conscientious positive attitude.
- Travel to job sites and install Natural Stone products.
- Maintain sufficient inventory of necessary project materials and shop supplies.
- Assist with all other shop positions as schedule dictates.
- Assist with other shop floor tasks as necessary.
- Maintain shop equipment and perform other routine maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by manager within scope of practice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Safety Compliance
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe operating procedures. - Ability to read and interpret drawings & specs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Proficient use of shop equipment, tools, and fabrication methods.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Well organized and ability to problem solve.
- Practical knowledge of proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and hazardous material handling practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous material handling experience- specifically solid surface slabs preferred machines.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. at times
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Warehouse and shop environment
- PPE required in accordance is required in accordance with Safety AWAIR program.
