Machine Operator

Job Summary

Under close direction of experienced operators or a Production Team Leader, operate SMT placement equipment and/or other equipment to manufacture PCBs and/or systems.

• Read and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications.
• Respond to written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all company policies regarding safety and material handling.
• Use cross-reference tools to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendors.
• Assist with line changeover and identify feeder by size and type in SMT equipment.
• Remove hazardous waste at the end of each shift and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Continuously maintain a clean machine.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read, write and perform basic math; ability to operate basic entry-level machines such as selective solder, wave, feeder load, axial/radial.

Benchmark considers this a safety-sensitive position. Employees must comply with a pre–employment drug screen and may use reasonable–suspicion or post–incident testing when required by law.

Compensation range: $17.83 to $19.78 USD plus shift differential.

Shift: Shift 4 –  (Full Time).
