Administrative Pastor Position Summary
The Administrative Pastor provides organizational leadership and oversight to ensure that the ministries, operations, and resources of Northbridge Community Church are effectively aligned with the church’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Administration
- Serve to filter and resolve issues that do not require the Lead Pastor’s attention.
- Oversee and improve church-wide administrative systems, processes, and communications.
- Coordinate the maintenance of church policies, procedures, and ministry handbooks.
- Provide input to the Finance Committee regarding the church budget.
- Staff Oversight & Development
- Directly supervise administrative, facilities, and support staff.
- Assist the Lead Pastor in creating a healthy staff culture rooted in collaboration, spiritual growth, and accountability.
- Lead staff meetings and coordinate staff training and development.
- Volunteer Systems & Ministry Support
- Serve as liaison between ministries not assigned to an elder’s oversight.
- Support ministry leaders in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and events.
- Assist ministry leaders with volunteer onboarding and training.
- Advise facility leaders on current needs.
- Pastoral Functions
- Assist with services, special events, and ceremonies when requested.
- Participate in pastoral care, prayer, and discipleship as needed.
- Model spiritual maturity and shepherding leadership consistent with the church’s mission.
- Spiritual & Character Requirements
- A mature follower of Jesus Christ with a lifestyle that reflects biblical character and integrity.
- Alignment with the church’s statement of faith, beliefs, mission, vision, and values.
- Demonstrated servant leadership with a heart for equipping others.
- Professional & Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred); ministry, theology, or leadership fields preferred.
- 5 years minimum of experience in church administration, operations, or organizational leadership.
- Strong understanding of church systems, structures, and ministry environments.
- Experience with multiple services per weekend - preferred.
- Skills & Competencies
- Excellent organizational and project-management skills.
- Strong communication abilities – written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Ability to lead teams, coach staff, and build biblically healthy working relationships.
- Ability to address challenges creatively and effectively, with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and grace under pressure.
- Competency in office software, database/church management systems, and digital communication tools.
- Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Salary range: $65K - $75K
