What You’ll Do
  • Deliver person‑centered nursing care in alignment with Mayo Clinic standards.
  • Monitor and manage residents’ health needs across multiple care settings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident safety and well‑being.
  • Accurately document skilled interventions to reflect clinical judgement and resident needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for the LPN position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
  • If graduation has not occurred within the last two years, one year of LPN experience working in an applicable setting is required.
License/Certification
  • Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license; active on the Minnesota Board of Nursing Registry.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification (must come from one of the following providers: American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Military Training Network).
Additional Qualifications
  • One year of work experience in Long Term Care or Home Health or two years of acute care nursing is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and resident‑centered care.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills are necessary with the ability to collect, compare, sort and prioritize information to be used in the decision‑making process for groups of residents and employees.
