Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Every Third Weekend

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well‑being throughout labor.
  • Interpret fetal monitoring strips and respond appropriately.
  • Assist with breastfeeding education and newborn care.
  • Care for mother‑baby couplets.
  • Perform outpatient OB services including NSTs, iron infusions, labor assessments, circumcisions, and bilirubin checks.
  • Educate patients and families throughout labor and postpartum recovery.
  • Communicate patient updates to physicians and nursing leadership.
  • Assist physicians during procedures and deliveries.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Float to other nursing departments when needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
  • Active RN license or eligibility for North Dakota licensure.
  • Labor & Delivery or acute care experience preferred.
  • New graduates welcome with appropriate orientation.
  • BLS certification required (or within 30 days of hire).
  • ACLS certification required (or within 60 days of hire).
  • NRP certification required (or next available training).
  • AWHONN and STABLE preferred.
