Short‑Term Rehabilitation – Join our 5‑Star Rated Short‑Term Rehabilitation Center Care Team where you will plan personalized care, monitor progress, and adjust accordingly to help our residents recuperate with ease.
- Deliver person‑centered nursing care in alignment with Mayo Clinic standards.
- Monitor and manage residents’ health needs across multiple care settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident safety and well‑being.

To be considered for the LPN position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program (e.g., some states allow RN students to take the LPN board exam after completing one to two years in the RN program).
- If graduation has not occurred within the last two years, one year of LPN experience working in an applicable setting is required.
- One year of work experience in Long Term Care or Home Health or two years of acute care nursing is preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong commitment to teamwork, communication, and resident‑centered care.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to collect, compare, sort and prioritize information to be used in the decision‑making process for groups of residents and employees.
- Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress.
- Works flexible hours which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
- Minnesota Licensed Practical Nurse license; active on the Minnesota Board of Nursing Registry.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support for Health Care Providers Certification (must come from one of the following providers: American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Military Training Network).
- All required documents must be attached to your application for consideration: CV/Resume, Cover Letter.
- Internal candidates must also attach their three most recent performance appraisals.
- Internal candidates who have not met their current department’s 1‑ or 2‑year commitment must attach an early release from their current supervisor.
- A detailed equivalency evaluation is required, demonstrating a U.S. equivalent degree.
- Evaluation must be completed by an organization listed as a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE).
