Research Fellow – Translational Cancer Biology & Radiation Research
The Research Fellow will join a translational cancer biology and radiation research environment focused on mechanisms of treatment response and resistance. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, maintaining records, analyzing data, preparing figures and manuscripts, contributing to grant development, and presenting results.
Responsibilities- Designing and executing experiments in cellular and molecular biology.
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records.
- Analyzing and interpreting data.
- Preparing figures and manuscripts.
- Contributing to grant and protocol development.
- Presenting results in lab meetings and scientific forums.
- Mammalian cell culture; irradiation experiments; clonogenic survival assays; proliferation, viability, and apoptosis/cell‑death assays; drug‑treatment and combination studies.
- Western blotting, qPCR, immunofluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry.
- Metabolomics or phosphoproteomics sample preparation and interpretation.
- Basic molecular biology, data organization, statistical analysis, and preparation of publication‑quality figures.
- Optional in vivo tumor studies, tissue processing, immunohistochemistry, and coordination with institutional cores.
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field. The role is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship.

Salary: $67,282.95 – $78,711.15 per year, adjusted for experience and tenure.
Work EnvironmentWet‑lab research setting requiring adherence to safety, biosafety, radiation‑safety, animal‑research, and data‑management policies.
