Assistant Manager Responsibilities

• Responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time.
• Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, maintain a perfect image and adherence to standards, provide great customer service, ensure attendance and punctuality, manage transportation to/from work, keep the store clean, support marketing, and maintain profitability.
• General job duties: operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area and walk‑in cooler, prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory and complete associated paperwork, and clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

• Strong judgment and math skills – add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator allowed).
• Ability to multitask and work under stress while meeting strict quality control standards.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate, precise movements.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

Orientation and training will be provided on the job.

• Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending forward, crouching/squatting, and reaching.
