Part-Time Assistant Manager - Level 1

As a Box Lunch Part‑Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team by delivering an excellent customer experience, training new recruits, and keeping daily operations running smoothly while meeting sales targets.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, using your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Step in and step up when needed, covering the sales floor and providing leadership support while the Manager is away.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Work the register, process sales transactions, and use fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales, including BOPIS and curbside pickup; close out the register and communicate shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Understand store sales plan, compensation sales goals, and key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion trend information to management and relevant HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent misuse of spells and prevent theft.
• Maintain the stock room organization and overall store tidy‑ness.
• Help develop and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run the store.
• Perform any other activities as assigned by the Store Leader.

• At least 1 year of retail store experience, with a passion for philanthropy and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time‑management, professionalism, and operations skills.
• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• The ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle up to 50 pounds of merchandise.
