Marketing Representative – North Dakota

North Star Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a motivated and professional individual to serve as a Marketing Representative in East Central, North Dakota. This position focuses on agency marketing and relationship management, providing an opportunity to work directly with independent insurance agents, policyholders, and company personnel to support the continued growth and success of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing North Star Mutual’s products and services to independent insurance agencies throughout the assigned territory. This role requires regular travel within North Dakota and may occasionally include travel outside the territory. To effectively serve our customers and agency partners, it is important to have the staff member located in or around the East Central area of the state.

As a representative of North Star Mutual, the successful candidate must maintain professionalism while building and maintaining strong relationships with policyholders, agency partners, and other stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential. This position requires an individual who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members across the organization. Applicants must be able to follow direction, demonstrate initiative, and make sound decisions while managing multiple responsibilities.

Preference for this position will be given to those with great interpersonal skills and basic knowledge of construction, agriculture, farming operations, and technology. Individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a customer-focused mindset are encouraged to apply.

While a variety of factors, including but not limited to job related knowledge, skillset, level of education and/or experience will be taken into consideration, it is anticipated this position will start at $60,000.00 per year. This role may be eligible for a merit increase annually and is eligible for our profit-sharing bonus plan.

Starting Range $60,000 to $65,0000 annually.
