Business Development Representative

The HT Group has an IT Services client in Rochester, MN looking for a Business Development Representative who is driven, relationship-focused, and consultative to generate new business opportunities, expand existing client relationships, and deliver technology solutions that help organizations achieve their business goals.

$45,000-$50,000
$80,000-$90,000 OTE

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, email, Linked In, and referrals.
• Conduct discovery meetings to identify customer needs and recommend managed IT and technology solutions.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, forecasts, and CRM records.
• Collaborate on proposals, presentations, and managed service agreements.
• Represent the company at networking events while identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

• 3–5 years of successful B2B sales and new business development experience.
• Strong consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms and managing an active sales pipeline.
• MSP or technology sales experience and experience selling to SMB or K-12 organizations preferred.
