In alignment and collaboration with MCL, LLC Operations, MML Sales and Product Management, the FSSM has accountability for servicing the needs of our existing client base, assisting in the generation of new business revenue by effectively promoting and educating Field Staff on both new and existing testing offerings, establishing and retaining long-term business relationships, collaborating with Sales Management to develop specific territory strategies, provide Sales and Business Training requirements, provides input and support to Field Directors in activities, account retention, and growth.
While doing so, must also promote Mayo Clinic's core values and support community-based health care and integrated delivery systems. Must maintain an effective balance between dynamic enterprise objectives and the needs of field staff and customers. Accountable for effective communications and active listening and willing to adapt, adjust, and be supportive when objectives shift to ensure long term viability and success of the enterprise.
Remain abreast of regulatory issues, market dynamics, reimbursement issues, and service requirements.
This individual will also take on the following responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison to Sales and Operations
- Provide Operational Updates to the Field Staff
- Drive sales concerns along with the Director of Sales
- Gather client/field staff concerns and communicate to MML to drive initiatives
- Provide feedback to the team and Director of Sales
- Sit in on Operational Meetings to ensure the field is informed
- Track issues
- Communicate outcomes
- Yearly Evaluation of vehicle choices
- Order vehicles for new staff
- Track Donlen information
- Track Field Vehicles
- Order replacement vehicles when needed
- Provide updates to the field
- Develop ease of use plan per vendor
- Create cooperate contracts
- Evaluate need for corporate contracts
- Pull and provide Sales metrics to the Director of Sales and Field Directors
- Monitor CRM usage
- Create CRM reports for Field staff
- To provide bi-weekly updates to the Field Staff
- To communicate across regions or 'ologies'
- Work with FSS Core to communicate across all field sales teams
This position will administer and optimize designated sales enablement tools, including managing user access, configurations, vendor relationships, documentation, user support, adoption, and ongoing enhancements. The Sales Operations Manager will also lead and support cross-functional projects by developing project plans, coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones and deliverables, managing risks, and communicating progress. The role will partner across Sales, Marketing, Training, IT, and other functions to improve processes, support change adoption, and ensure sales operations initiatives achieve their intended business outcomes.
