Job Description

Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid healthcare providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Testing is conducted in specialized laboratories and may involve highly skilled manual techniques or automated testing with sophisticated instrumentation.

Responsibilities

+ Equal opportunity to utilize GC/MS, HPLC, and LC/MS.

+ Operate and maintain laboratory instruments.

+ Troubleshoot assays and evaluate test accuracy.

+ Assist in interpreting results and provide operational support to optimize testing.

+ Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.

+ Adhere to safety protocols while working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
