Overview

Per Mar Security Services is an industry leader in integrated security solutions, established in 1953. Operating in 25 locations across the Midwest, we employ more than 2,600 staff providing services such as security officers, smart home automation, alarms, access control, CCTV, monitoring, investigative services, and background checks.

We are hiring entry‑level and experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team.

• Shifts:
  
  Sunday 4 pm–12 am, Monday 4 pm–12 am
• Pay: $19.50 per hour
• Responsibilities include loss prevention, checking orders, counting purchased products, walking (extensive walking required), and communication with the public.

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule infractions.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premises rules and regulations.
• Address individuals engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report any facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high‑risk situations.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle a physical workload.
• Willingness to participate in pre‑employment screening, including drug and background checks.
