Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring a 1st shift Electrician 2. The Electrician 2is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Department by performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on all production and facility equipment.

Job Title: Electrician 2
Location: Winsted, MN
Salary Range:$32.30 – 38.00 per hour
(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.)
Shift Schedule
: 1st shift Monday – Friday 5am – 1pm or 7am - 3pm
Shift Differential
: 1st shift – N/A

As an Electrician 2you will:

  • Install, calibrate and maintain electrical systems and process control devices
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
  • Diagnose and propose repair solutions for electrical power, electrical control and process control equipment
  • Assist in the planning, budgeting and implementation of electrically related facility projects
  • Operate hoists, lift trucks, hand tools and power tools
  • Develop and maintain proper use, care, and safety skills of all hand, power, welding and any other tools necessary for use in the course of this job.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install electrical panels and all associated wiring
Role Qualifications as an Electrician 2
  • High school education or equivalent.
    • Preferred technical education in electricity
  • Current Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License is required and it must be maintained
  • Basic knowledge of process sensors/transmitters
  • Basic Knowledge of electrical safety devices (breakers, fuses, etc.)
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical work practices and guidelines to include those outlined by the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proficient interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Work independently with little supervision
  • Effective and appropriate oral communication skills including legible handwriting in English
