Job Overview

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled Pipefitter with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, coupled with the responsibility of safely transporting materials and equipment to various job sites.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine pipe layouts, dimensions, and materials.
• Cut, thread, bend, groove, and weld pipes according to specifications, using various hand and power tools.
• Assemble and install piping systems, including valves, fittings, and other components, ensuring proper alignment and support.
• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing on installed piping systems to ensure leak‑free operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems, identifying and rectifying leaks, blockages, or other malfunctions.
• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, and cranes as needed for pipe installation and material handling.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and vehicle logs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate effectively with other crew members, supervisors, and clients.

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter, preferably in the construction or industrial sector.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings proficiently.
• Proficiency in various pipe fitting techniques, including cutting, threading, bending, and welding (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Knowledge of different types of piping materials (e.g., carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC) and their applications.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
